Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Customer Agreement

You are responsible for the proper transportation and storage of your meals following assembly at The Busy Chef. We recommend that you bring a cooler to sessions for meal transportation.

For your safety and protection while at The Busy Chef, we recommend that you wear closed toe shoes to your session.

We recommend that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled session. Although The Busy Chef will attempt to accommodate late arrivals, it cannot guarantee that the session will be open to late customers.

You must release The Busy Chef from all claims, damages, and causes of action liabilities which may arise as a result of your preparation, storage, and consumption of The Busy Chef meals, except if solely due to the gross negligence of The Busy Chef.

You must abide by the cancellation and rescheduling policy of The Busy Chef.

You must follow all rules of conduct listed below while using The Busy Chef facilities.

You may not bring a child under the age of eleven to your session.

You may not bring more than one guest to your session.

You must wash your hands and wear gloves when instructed by The Busy Chef.

You must freeze your meals or refrigerate them for cooking immediately after your session.

You must keep your meals below 40˚ while in storage.

You must cook all meals according to their instruction labels. You must thaw meals completely before cooking, and, unless otherwise specified, cook them to an internal temperature of 165˚.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
The Busy Chef buys fresh ingredients for your meals shortly before your session, therefore, we have developed a Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy to minimize food waste and to keep our prices affordable.
Cancellation

You may cancel three business days prior to your scheduled session and we will issue a full refund using your method of payment.

You may cancel two business days prior to your scheduled session and we will issue you 100% store credit at The Busy Chef.

You may cancel one business day prior to your scheduled session and we will issue you 50% store credit at The Busy Chef.

Same-day cancellations will not receive any credit.
Rescheduling

You may reschedule three or more business days prior to your scheduled session, space permitting, by logging in to your account at www.vtbuschef.com

If you experience a problem and realize you can't make your session less than three business days prior to your scheduled session, call The Busy Chef at 802.878.0770. We may be able to reschedule you for the business day after your scheduled session.
